The other advantage is that the fast ferries are usually more modern than the slow ferries. The disadvantages are if you get seasick easily, the fast ferry might not be for you. Fair enough, that is normal for all Greek ferries, but a little more care would be nice. However the real problem was the staff. Rude, surly, unhelpful and petty would sum it up for me.
