But if you want to take the (low) risk and try out Textools, there is a mod called MaterialUI that replaces UI textures and looks pretty nice. It's not a huge overhaul though, mainly just a color change in the end.

Web31 Jan 2024 · I've disabled mods, started over, deleted TexTools and started over from scratch several times, but nothing has changed. The modlist shows a green outline on the files to show that they're enabled until I manually disable them. I've also tried changing save/modlist/backup directories just in case, but TexTools crashes immediately.
